ACTIVITIES AND SET UP

The activities of the Danish national teams are regarded as international media events.

Below stated variety of media activities are open to match- or tournament accredited media representatives.

Non-accredited media must contact the DBU for possible access.

GENERAL MEDIA SERVICE AND SET UP:

Daily media activities or –information:

DBU provides possibilities for editorial relevant contact between the accredited media and the players, coaching- and medical staff on a daily basis during periods of training camps and matches during scheduled press activities:
Scheduled press activities:

DBU does not offer interviews by phone or e-mail with the players, coaching- and medical staff during periods of training camps and matches no matter weather these are inside or outside the scheduled press activities.  

Subjects:
Media activities during training camps in connection with matches and tournaments are established to provide the media with opportunities to talk to the players, coaching- and medical staff about subjects related to the team, the matches and the tournament in question.
 
The players, coaching- and medical staff are, however, not obliged to answer questions about subjects not relating to the Danish national team, the match or tournament in question.
 
Exclusive or feature interviews:
 
Training camps and the scheduled press activities unfortunately leaves no room for exclusive or feature interviews.
Mixed zone activities and pre-match press conferences provide opportunities for non-exclusive one-on-one interviews with the participating players and coaches.
 
Telephone interviews:
 
Not possible. DBU does not coordinate nor provide private or mobile telephone numbers of the players, coaching- and medical staff.
 
Interviews via e-mail:
 
Not possible. DBU do not coordinate nor not provide e-mail adresses of the players, coaching- and medical staff.
 
Subject to changes and cancellations:
 
Scheduled press activities are subject to change or cancellation completely due to decisions made by the head coach even with short notice. Please check above scheme daily for possible changes.
 
The participation of specific players and coaches at media activities are subject to possible injury situation and treatment plan.

MIXED ZONES
 
Mixed zone 1:
 
Known as ”mixed zone and open training” takes place at hotel, training ground or match stadium. Mixed zone opportunity before the start of training sessions with no interview possibilities after the training session.

Players and coaches available upon arrival before start of training session. No contact/interviews after end of training session.

TRAINING SESSIONS

Many training sessions are open to the media.

Open or partially open training sessions are stated in “scheduled press activities” with reference to below mentioned versions.

Training sessions closed to media and public are not stated.

No interviews after training sessions.

Explanations:

Training session 1:
Training session (all) open to media (most likely directly after mixed zone-activity). No interviews after training session.

Training session 2:
Training session partially open (first 15 minutes) to media (most likely directly before or after press conference- or mixed zone-activity). No interviews after training session.

Training session 3:
Training session open or partially open to media, t.b.d. prior to or during training session. No interview possibilities at all in connection with training session!
