Fælles resolution fra de nordiske fodboldforbund om FIFA
Det danske, svenske, norske, finske, færøske og islandske fodboldforbund kommer her med en fælles udtalelse vedrørende situationen med FIFA.
De seks nordiske fodboldforbund har mistet tilliden til FIFA’s præsident og har alvorlige bekymringer over organisationens governance og beslutningsprocesser på øverste niveau.
De nordiske fodboldforbund står fast sammen med UEFA og de tiltag, som UEFA’s medlemsforbund enstemmigt har foreslået. Vi forventer, at FIFA giver bindende garantier for, at FIFA aldrig igen vil åbne sin governance eller sine turneringer for privat ejerskab.
Vi støtter samtidig kravet fra AFC, Concacaf og UEFA om en fuldt ud uafhængig tredjepartsundersøgelse af forløbet omkring forslaget om FIFA Forward Enterprise.
Vi opfordrer desuden FIFA til at iværksætte en omfattende og uafhængig gennemgang af, om FIFA’s governance-struktur sikrer den uafhængighed, de nødvendige kontrolmekanismer og magtbalancer, gennemsigtighed og ansvarlighed, som var hensigten, da FIFA vedtog sit reformprogram i 2016.

Joint Resolution by the Nordic Football Associations on FIFA
The six Nordic football associations have lost confidence in the FIFA President and have serious concerns about the governance and high-level decision-making of the organisation.
The Nordic football associations stand firmly with UEFA and the measures suggested by its National Associations in unison. We expect that FIFA provides binding assurances that FIFA will never again open its governance or competitions to private ownership.
We also support the demand put forward by AFC, CONCACAF and UEFA for a fully independent third-party review of the events surrounding the FIFA Forward Enterprise proposal.
We also call for FIFA to initiate a comprehensive independent review of whether FIFA’s governance framework provides the independence, checks and balances, transparency and accountability that were intended when FIFA adopted its reform programme in 2016.
